I wonder why some people like us are inclined to yearn for a supposedly more ideal, nostalgic era? Or maybe it is just the modern culture is so grotestque. Give me Bob standing in one spot with lyric cards for Subterranean rather than the girls in RnB vids who are not wiggling their hips like Shakira or a bellydancer but go so far as to grind as thought they are dry humping the air. Now I am no prude but aesthetically it turns my stomach.

Yes. Exactly. I couldn't have said it better myself...I'm thinking that you are my tfs twin! They have such amazing lyrics! That's what I like so much about people like Dylan, Springsteen, Johnny Cash, etc. I find it increasingly hard to find lyrics that touch me in today's music (with some exceptions...esp the Libertines)!

I just dont get todays music,lyrics about booty or expensive labels just dont appeal to me!
I despise 80% of whats rolling out there in todays music,so i preffer Johnny,Bob,The Doors and music of many others that actually had something to say.The lack of talent in todays artists gets me depressed.

Oh wow Mullet.... I almost actually typed Suze. How odd. He looks so beautiful with the jewfro and so ugly with short hair. Confirms my suspicion that a man is all about the hair.
