has anyone had problems with facial scrubs? i dont know what it is but i've used the st. ives facial exfoliating scrub and i got a really bad eye infection. i stopped after that from being traumatized....and about a year later, i thought i would try a different brand, since my skin was getting blah because of the change in weather. i used aveeno, and now i have the same type of eye infection, in the same eye. i am very careful to keep this stuff away from my eyes and rinsed thouroughly, but i think somehow, in both cases, the lil beads got into my eye somehow....has anyone had any prblems at all???? also, it seems to be making my skin break out moreso than normal..... :(

hmm never had a problem with exfoliating beads or whatever getting in my eye, as ure not supposed to exfoliate the eye area, its the most delicate area on the face!!! When I wash off exfoliants, my eyes are closed, hmmm

if your skin is breaking out, try using a very light one for sensitive skin, the St Ives is pretty strong in my opinion. Of the top of my head, Im not sure if Avene has one but their stuff are normally pretty light and sensitive skin friendly, otherwise hmm maybe something from Thalgo? or even Decleor? Stay away from the stronger more active ones like Ultraceuticals or Murad if your skin cannot take it.

    Hope this helps!

I love Bliss' Hot Salt Scrub, it actually hurts when you use it, but then... it's like totally new skin, much smoother than when using other body scrubs.
