Hey, loved these jackets, but I used to think these sort of jackets are called shrugs, but since these are boleros, is there any difference between the two?

I think "shrugs" only refers to the long-sleeve cropped sweaters with a tie around the bust. I've never heard of crocheted or knit borelos called shrugs.

yeah i like them when they're worn with individuality, i'm over the ones like Marissa wore on OC, thats how everyone wears them...boring. Anyway how do you pronounce the word sorry ? Yeah I've never heard of them as boleros either.

I'm also sick of boleros but i think the pic Lena posted is gorgeous (thanks lena), but as she sad it's a short jacket and not a shurg... i love the short jacket and it doesn't feel old like the shurg does.

I like cropped jackets like these by designer (Australian) Kate Hurst (www.katehurst.com), rather than shrugs

i have no idea either, but style.com calls them boleros so i went with that.

I was never really a huge fan of the bolero. They just seem so off to me. I do, however, fully endorse cropped long sleeved sweaters.
