If it were her everyday style, I wouldn't mind cuz she does look more pulled together than the typical celebrity. But the problem is she's wears it on the red carpet!

One one hand, I admire her for flaunting convention and doing her own thing. But on the other, I do worry for her, because I don't think she has alternatives (except maybe being a model, but I don't think she's interested in that despite her amazing editorials). Her co-star, Jessie Cave (Lavender Brown in the HP movies) got rejected from Hollywood due to her fashion sense (which is very eccentric, to say the least) but Cave has worked on her comedy skills and now has her own successful cult youtube series and (ironically) successful T-shirt site (pindippy.com). What does Bonnie have?

Whatever her shortcomings, I do like that how she individualizes her style. Wearing a braid with an evening gown then doing more teased hair with the more casual dress.

I like the look in 6.02. Very cute! 6.03 just the hair and makeup. That dress is completely shapeless. It needs a belt. Heels would have been nice too.

I completely agree with you about her style and wondering what she will do next. Luckily for Bonnie she has a BA in Film so... that could help. It seems like she'll probably transition from being an actress to working behind the scenes as a director or producer. Or maybe she'll continue to do both. Plus, she has connections in the biz obviously, which always helps. And her first film premiered at Cannes... so I'd say she's off to a pretty good start! So now all she really has to do is not dress so casually on the red carpet and she's headed in a good direction! Maybe she should model her style after Sofia Coppola? It's rather relaxed yet put together.

My favorite look Bonnie wore at Cannes is the dress in the last pictures added to this thread. Besides the bag, it's a pretty great outfit. I think the braid with that dress adds a touch of whimsy to the look. And it's a look that still feels like Bonnie... but just a little bit fancier then what she normally wears.

I rather like the outfit she wore to the Perks premiere, except I think it would have been better with a nude color bra or something, I don't get the trend of having undergarments showing like that. But Bonnie looks really put together her and that's always nice to see.

I like that she's always a bit quirky and playful with her outfits. She wears the clothes, they don't wear her - unlike so many young actresses

Way to go Bonnie! I love the outfit she wore to the Oxfam event. I think what makes it work is the different types of fabric in an all black outfit.
