Emma Watson quits Harry Potter

I've seen him in Driving Lessons and he was definitely very good. Say what you want about his 'constipated' look but he is much more comfortable with the camera than Emma.

Watson is a brainless, posh bombshell whereas I think there have been some indications that Radcliffe and Grint might be able to act. (The former gets uglier and uglier as he gets older.)

Thankfully Grints gets better and better and cuter and cuter B) He was atrocious in every way in the first movie, and since then he's actually gotten better than Daniel, I think. Daniel has an absolutely repulsive smile btw. It's a real weakness - he just shows all his teeth like he's at the dentist's. Sometimes I think it'll turn out that Harry is Evil in the end...lol....clearly I think too much about HP.

$3.8 million is NOT alot, considering the films in total have made BILLIONS of dollars. she knows that she'll be forever typecast as "Hermione" and she won't be able to work for years to come. Maybe when she's 30, she'll be able to stage a comeback, when she's no longer recognizeable as Hermione Granger, but until then she (along with the other 2) are stuck as the "Harry Potter kids". No doubt.

If I were her, I'd be asking for loads more money as well.

That's a lot of money. If I was Emma I sure wouldn't hesitate. Who wouldn't sign under such a contract? Anyway.. I don't think Harry Potter would be the same, without Emma (Since she's been all along from the start) Although, I do not like her it would be pretty weird to see a new 'Hermione'

^ Agreed. I was a little confused at first since I read that she wasn't quitting after all a few days ago. Besides, it's in her best interest not to since she has questionable acting skills and might not get as much work because of that and possible typecasting.
