Bottega Veneta S/S 2009 : Emma Maclaren by Larry Sultan

This image manages to show off the products while creating an interesting atmosphere, I find myself wanting to know where this 'story' leads, and what's going elsewhere in the house.

Beautiful shot. Makes me wonder if she is thinking or just standing still, looking through her reflection. I love how they captured the moment.

One more

Since the campaign season has just begun, it’s difficult to say that I already have a favorite – but the new Bottega Veneta campaign breaks that barrier in more ways than one. Emma MacClaren told me that this was an absolutely “amazing nightshoot,” and since I’m left breathless whenever I see the campaign in publication, I can only imagine what the actual shooting experience was like. The wonderful lighting provide the apparel with just the right mood, balancing some otherwise rich colors with pleasant hues. I admit that I’m not always the biggest fan of orange, but whenever Tomas Meier and his creative team applies it to the brand (In whichever way), it somehow evolves into an extravagant creation. The setting is stunning as well, and as an aficionado of floor-to-ceiling windows, I’m glad it was implemented cleverly into the campaign. There is definitely nothing like a well-used backdrop to complete a wonderful photograph.
In this particular ad, Emma and Sean Harju seem like melancholic lovers after some sort of verbal skirmish, struggling to find solace in their previously wonderful “relationship.” There is no telling what may happen next in this scenario: will they mend their fences and embrace? Or is this the final straw in what they previously had? As the two models gaze into the distance in contemplation, the clothes adorning them become the centerpieces instead. Perhaps even in the midst of trouble, they can still remember that they can always look fabulous, haha.

Very nice, I prefer the first shot though.
But the setting in this one is absolutely gorgeous!

Both pics look really beautiful to me.I really like the lightening and colours, and like what she's wearing.

I love that both pictures look like the same shot from a different angle.

Oh what a pleasant surprise. I really like this really eerie atmosphere of loneliness the ad conveys (but not in a creepy way).

Also, it reminds me of the movie Mullholand Drive. I wonder if they shot it in the same house?

Another one. Could a moderator please correct Emma's surname in the thread title?

Another great one. Colors and the setting are so perfect in these ads!

This is shaping up to be, if not the best campaign, the most beautiful.:heart:Also Emma is really showing her worth here.:D L-O-V-E I-T.

Bottega Veneta rarely fails to deliver. i love this campaign, it's warm and intimate atmosphere is flawless. funny though, these images feel much more intimidating than last year's Alyona's campaign which also explored the couple's relationship featuring uber-luxurious bags and silk memorabilia.
