I actually liked the car wash business why for spring though? Looks like she's trying to lean towards Blazy's aesthetic in terms of clothes. But there are chunks of the collection when the vibes of Phoebe's Celine from between 2015-2018 are way too strong.

So BV will be about Blazism and Philoism- because they both worked out in the past so we shall continue with that storytelling. Safe. May generate some cash or at least keep the brand afloat alas they keep the craftsmanship going. I hoped she'd make the RTW lighter than Blazy's (I always found heavy handed). You know, to give it a more feminine feel...for women from a woman

Trotter was clearly tasked with continuation, not disruption, hence we can see Blazy and, most importantly, Lee - who proven to be the real deal for that fashion house if second consecutive creative director after him cannot let its own voice be heard without their predecessor echo. The collection is a mixture of well known and overplayed thropes, exercise in minimalism and "philo-isms" rather than new direction. Can't blame them, fashion wise Kering hangs on that BV thread. Probably 5-7 decent silhouettes, menswear overlooked, accessories the weakest in years.
