Boudicca Showroom S/S 08 Paris

that's amazing!!!
all those shoulders... great great great...
i wish i would see this on streets and in editorials (c'mone editors!!!!!!)
i love the fur coat and many other things!

^i know i was thinking that myself. i want to live in that building on that beautiful street..

the belted fur jacket is GORGEOUS!!!! Boudicca is so amazing... everytime! I miss their quirky runway shows tho...

to be honest, i'm more a fan of exhibitionism (the fashion kind), than catwalk shows...

I think more interaction is accomplished than with a catwalk show...

only my opinion ofcourse, but I find most catwalks very cold & disconnected with its audience.

yea is cool. showroom in paris, city of danger, can't remember where.maybe top tour d'eiffel. (sp) (sp)

i've been an tremendous advocate of installations, static shows and these(although done by and for prettypretty)kinds of street presentations for ages. i just think they have alot more atmosphere than catwalks...the latter can be rather staid and impersonal because they tend to be too machine-like. besides it allows for more imagination when one doesn't have alot of money too.

My favorite collection in many a season. It is immaculately crafted and the clarity of vision is astonishing.

That shade of violet is exquisite as is the construction of the garments. Thanks for posting, Scott!

i saw a couple pieces at barneys the other day. jaw-droppingly beautiful details and amazing construction.

one dress was a silver/pale gold fabric that was cut gorgeously and made me think of hot melted liquid. could not stop touching it. :p

the other dress was a poofy cream lace dress with a black twill (?) tie at the waist. the lace was thick and looked antique. would not mind getting married in it.:wub::wub:

the photos don't do it justice - it's just so much better in person. :flower:

i'm so sad that our store has had to push our Boudicca stock to the 70% rack at the back of the store. if only my city was a little more fashion forward and appreciated the quality and imagination that goes into this line.
