OK guys, maybe you've heard of this, but MAC is coming out with some products ( that already have been out there ) for their new collection for guys called "Boy Beauty". The ad has an asian guy with long hair and full on "natural look" makeup.

Basically its just blot powder, eyeshadows in neutral colours like vanilla, omega and other two that are coming in a quad palette, also there's gonna be lipsticks like apres sol and tinted blushes.

I'll come back with more information when this comes out to the stores, this is just a little peek of what's coming.

Yeah I heard about the "Pretty Boy" collection, I have one of the eyeshadows called Cork. I think that e/s is part of the collection but I forgot about the others.

I thought it was only sold in Asia because that seems to be the only big market for it.

well finally....my friend who works at mac says they get tons of male customers, and they're usually just buying camouflage make-up to cover such and such.

so at least they're catering to their customers

well I'm sure that's like the test trial city then it'll slowly expand....but either way, make up is make up. The only diff in here is the "marketing" and maybe the packaging, but in reality it's all the same.

Exciting!! I've been a devout MAC man since the wee age of 16...loves it.

It came out in Asia in March, but were expecting it in Miami by June-July. Only at Pro stores due to the fact that it wont be so well accepted in middle class dept stores.

^ that sounds great then because in houston we have a MAC store. Can't wait to try some of it out!

oooh only in MAC Pro stores....YAY...there's a MAC Pro store in vancouver...

isn't there only like 8 MAC pro store in the world or something?

The bronzing powders sound interesting:o

If anyone has used it already, could they say if it rubs off (or washes off)? I've never actually used any cosmetics, except for those sunless tanning lotions. On that spektra website, it says it's "long-wearing."

apres sol is a lipstick taht came out with the "sundressing" colletions
the tinted blushes are the cheek stains that just came out today for the "see thru" collection

the boy beauty collection wouldn't be something that people at macy's would get. i've only helped maybe 5 guys since i've worked at the counter. 2 wear makeup and the other have gotten like sheer pressed powder or concealer or skin care.

He does not look good at all. I thought it was a woman, actually.

Interesting, but I don't really see the point.

I mean a normal concealer and powder would work for any guy trying to acheive a more flawless skin look.

But all that other stuff, like neutral eyeshadows.

I don't see the point.
