BRAD PITT: PRESS IN CANCUN TO FILMING IN CORNWALL

Doing the promotion thing, Brad Pitt attended the Money Ball press conference event in Cancun, Mexico on Monday (July 11).

The 47-year-old actor was taking a break from family time as he spent the afternoon speaking with various media outlets from around the world about his new Billy Beane biopic.

Meanwhile, Brad will soon be making his way to Falmouth, Cornwall where he’ll begin filming his upcoming zombie drama World War Z.

Paramount Pictures is currently in negotiations with the Falmouth council in order to film boat scenes off the Cornish coast.

Brad has already filmed scenes in Malta, and may also be traveling to Glasgow for production.

Falmouth town manager Richard Gates tells Western Morning News that he is excited about the prospect of the movie being filmed in Cornwall.

“This is a major coup for Falmouth and we’re pulling out all the stops to prepare for the influx of crew and cast,” he says. “We’ve been working closely behind the scenes with Paramount Pictures and are working hard with regards to the necessary planning and permissions.”

The film is based on Max Brooks‘ novel World War Z: An Oral History Of The Zombie War, and revolves around the aftermath of a war between zombies and humans.

Matthew Fox and Ed Harris were previously attached to the project, but have since dropped out. The film is expected to be released in 2012.

Brad Pitt Enjoys a Glass of Red Wine During a Fishing Lesson With Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and Knox

Brad Pitt had a chance to explore the grounds of the Carnell Estate yesterday in Scotland, heading out to a pond for a fishing lesson with his children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and Knox.

There was a teacher on hand to provide the instruction, freeing Brad for a few minutes to enjoy a glass of red wine on a nearby bench. Zahara and Knox came along in their rain coats, even meandering toward the water with the help of duck-topped walking sticks!

Brad had the hours off from working on the Glasgow set of World War Z, but he was back to work this morning shooting the zombie flick. Angelina was the one out exploring the gorgeous scenery of their temporary accommodations today — Angelina took Vivienne and Knox for a walk near the flower garden.
