I've seen Brigitte in interviews and she said at the time of her life when she got pregnant,it was all wrong-her life was out of control with stress and weird people bothering her,stalking her and she didn't feel right being pregnant.She has been suicidal at times in her life and during that time she was very weary of people and the world but she says she loves her son-that's just how she felt at that time in her life.Everyone is different about things.Yes,some of her views are quite different,but she only has her own life to live-she's still a good person and a giving person,along with her beauty!

I've only seen her in Viva Maria! (1965) and Masculin féminin: 15 faits précis (1966). Can anyone recommend some of her other film? Thank you.

As well as the ones suggested by danabnormal, you absolutely must see And God created woman. This was the film that made Brigitte an international star. The film created a huge impact, not only in how successful French films could be commercially (thanks to Roger Vadim) but it also created a new type of woman, embodied by Bardot. She was impulsive and sexually predatory (quite a few feminists praised this new woman for these qualities).
