i haven't read the entire thread. and yes she is devoted to animals. but i think the reason some people dislike or hate her is that she is very very outspoken about immigration in france. and makes what could be called racist comments. she is very outspoken about these views.

apart from that, yup she is an incredible and impossibly beautiful looking woman with inspiring style.

I love Brigitte!! I remember she was my very first avatar when I first joined this site
Shes definitely one of the classic timeless woman up there with Audrey Hepburn in my book.
