Thanks karina.. How was the movie?

The movie is very camp, but you kind of expect it from the era it's made. ;)
Brigitte plays the daughter of the French president who has a huge crush on one of her father's top aides, Michel (who is a ladies' man). Michel is always spurning her advances until one weekend at a country estate Michel and Brigitte are caught in a compromising position and her father forces them to marry.
Brigitte, however is unhappy as she suspects Michel is still continuing with his affairs, so to teach him a lesson she decides to conduct an affair with Prince Charles (of Britain  ) who is in Paris for a state visit.
It's very light, amusing and harmless (v much of it's time) but Brigitte is just wonderful. She really shines and her costumes are so skintight you can't fail to notice THE body!
It's a fun movie to watch on a Sunday afternoon.^_^

But I was exhausted yesterday coz it took me just under two hours to do the screencaps (longer than the film's running time!)

i love this movie!!!!^_^

Thank you karina! The only movie I've seen with Brigitte is Shalako, and not all of it. She plays one role where she is a murderess? Can't remember which movie....

^ I haven't seen Shalako.

But I have quite a few of her films in my DVD collection.
Apart from Une Parisienne, I've got Le Mempris (incredible film - I  Godard), And God Created Woman ( Brigitte is phenomenal in this! It was her breakthrough film ), Les Bijoutiers du clair de lune and Masculin Feminin ( she made a short cameo appearance in this Godard film), Her Bridal Night ( quite lame ).

I tried watching Viva Maria, but I reached my limit after 30 minutes!

To be honest, I love any film with Bardot in it, because, Bardot's in it! No matter how lousy the film is Bardot is guaranteed to be beautiful, sexy, fun and charming. I'm desperate to get my hands on her more obscure movies that aren't available in UK, like A Very Private Affair. She looks incredible in the trailer I saw of the film, Marcello Mastroianni is in it  and it tells the story of an actress who's private life is torn apart by the constant media attention and her fans. I think this was made just after her first suicide attempt, so I'd be intrigued to see how she performed in a role that was painfully close to her own life...

Hi karina, is la verite good? Do you mean the full photo? I'm not certain. If not, here it is, scanned from The Films of Brigitte Bardot:

I love the photo from French Elle! And to think that Brigitte thought she was odd looking. I agree with Roger Vadim... she's not from this world! "an alien"

Gorgeous and stunning. Not that great as an actress, though... but you still want to watch her movies, because you simply want to look at her, and enjoy her beauty.

Some photos that weren't posted before (I guess..)
