She looks really good here!! :)

Thank you for all of the beautiful pictures, this is definitely one of my favourite threads.

What I've been wondering is, what would be the best Brigitte films to see? Also, since I learned recently she had a recording career as well, what (if any), were her best songs/albums? Any insight would be most appreciated :flower:

Moi je joue is my favourite Brigitte song by far! So fun and full of spirit!:D
As for films you definitely have to see "And God Created Woman", it was the arrival of Brigitte and her breakthrough role. She's utterly irresistible and when she dances in the final scene :woot:

^filmwise, I'd add "the truth" and esp "the contempt" to karina's tip. she's utterly breath-taking in these films.

musicwise, you HAVE to listen to "mister sun"(original french version:"le soleil")...its video is on youtube! it captures everything I love about BB...

there are quite a lot of samplers out there (did she ever bring out a proper album beside "bonnie & clyde" w/ gainsbourg?),I would personally recommend the "brigitte bardot show"-record from her tv show back in '67.

bugger,I just saw that the "mr.sun" video was taken off youtube :( - well, there are still many other nice bardot-clips.

some screencaps I took from the "faces of paris - brigitte bardot" documentary (the behind the scenes making of the "Brigitte Bardot Show".
Some highlights include watching Brigitte and Serge during the making of "Bonnie and Clyde", a mention of Brigitte's attempted suicide, and insights into Brigitte's work method and creative input.Narrated by its director, Eddy Matalon):

(more to follow soon)

i can t believe how dark her natural hair color is yet the blond looks really really nice

Thank you both so much for your recommendations (tried to karma you, not sure if it worked :p), I'll be sure to check them all out!!!

continued...

^this set was taken at london (at heathrow airport, I guess),she went there to do the video shoot for "carnaby street".
a while ago sb posted a pic with brigitte sporting that funky mop top - now I can officially confirm that it was just a wig she put on for the video :p

She looks so old! :( It's hard to belive she's the same person we see on those beautiful pictures! Really sorry to say this, I think she didn't age well

I think it was probably all the sun she exposed herself to. But as they say... time can tear down a building, or destroy of woman's face....

She's over seventy years old, give her a break. I think she's a cute old lady, just with some bad sun damage.

say what you want, but she's still got her wonderful, wonderful features from back then. of course she would look better now if she took more care (the rather bloated face),but it's not that she has completely let herself down.
