Britt Maren

OMG!!!Why?!?! She looks 20 years older with that hair color!

Personally, I think she looked better as a blonde

I think this is workable .. it has potential, we need to see more. Although yes her blonde hair was striking and didn't get enough stage time at all!

I have to say I dont hate it now that I see it on the runway, her face is still so strong but I agree the blonde should have lasted longer she wasnt anywhere due for a change:(

I hate it, she was so Unique with her previous hair
I was able to distinguish her from a sea of platinum blondes

I loved her hair at Rag&Bone! I wish she would grow it longer and obviously keep the blonde! The brown hair is quite scary on her (but it could have been the awful styling at Alexander Wang). Why would she even bother dyeing her hair for his show? Changing your hair colour for Balenciaga is one thing, but Alexander Wang?! Bizarre, no?

Brunette... Makes her blend in we all the faces you never learn the names of... Hope she doesn't end up as one of those girls that has to change their hair with every season.

Honestly? The blonde hair was perfect for this collection, her features, etc. This was not a smart move by any means.

She can work the brown hair with her face/body but this would be a mistake to keep IMO...she was just starting to build her public identity and then this drastic change? Im worried it's going to confuse casting/clients/the public/mags that hired her (VOGUE) as a blonde? Hmm, I love Britt so I hope this plays out in her favor. A risky move for sure so early in in FW11.

^ Have to agree with your whole post, and personally I'm on the fence with this one, because although the short blonde crop didn't get much of a shelf life, it was this that distinguished her from everyone else, and we all know in modelling a haircut can really 'make' someone and it did.
Although, she still looks stunning with the dark hair too, so I hope it dosen't effect anything for her. Her face in itself should be enough......and I've just noticed how symmetrical her face is.

I don't know where I have been, but I only discovered this girl today! Just went through her whole thread and I'm definitely a new fan. She is absolutely gorgeous. The blonde haircut made her so unique and I have to admit I was a bit shocked to see her with the short dark hair, I don't think I like it. Need to see it in more shows I think.

I adored her look at Rag & Bone though.

That'd be one of the very few times I wish a model went blonde, really.

I agree with everyone else that her short blonde hair made her stand out from the crowd in such an unique way, I still have in my head the image of Britt at Lanvin S/S 11 show with a neon yellow top as eye-catching as her hair were. While brown doesn't look bad, her faces kind of fades away with it.
