Over here in Australia we call them 2 Minute Noodles. I think they're the same thing. One recipe I learnt, which sounds bizarre, but is rather yummy is to cook the noodles. Whip up some an egg and milk mixture as you would for an omlette, then season it with the seasoning from the noodles packet. Cook as you would a normal omlette and tada! It's very filling and super cheap. Just make sure you don't use too much omlette mixture, you basically want to fill in the gaps between the noodles, not have them swimming in it.
