I love the insects!! I have a ton of pins and haven't really worn them for a few years, after they were everywhere. Maybe this fall it's time to bust them out again!

this is a vintage christian dior brooch from the mid-60's that i recently acquired. it is SO gorgeous.....and it actually looks an awful lot like something straight out of the s/s 2004 haute couture, which i'm not complaining about

i knew there was a thread for brooches.... i just wanted to share my dumbness.
so, since the runway show, i've always been intrigued by the initial pins miumiu had on every model's outfit... then i saw them in person and felt the urge to own one. (two seems a lil too much even for me, no matter how much i love kitsch-y things). but the adorable sa told me they dont make them in every letter, they only made the 'm' cause it's like their logo (wich doesnt really make sense, anway) but - he added - they make them by special order in any letter one wants. so i ordered my F.

how tacky will it be? i do things on impulse

anyway considering it's brown leather and not glittery gold, i guess the tackiness factory lowers a lot.
