HI out there ! :flower: :flower: :flower:

I don't know whether I am leading anyone into temptation , but there are some real bargains at BROWNS' E-SHOP SALE !!

www.brownsfashion.com

I , at the moment , am skint , but still.............

KIT

why go to the ESHOP when u can go the the REAL THING ;)

i went there today actually.....i think they are starting to recognise me  :ninja: i go there practically 4 times a week

there are NO good clothes at browns at the moment......or south m street generally  today in there, there was like an 80 year old granny trying to look 20....i nearly gagged

good finds of the day........
beige beanie from geirgio armani
beige cashmere hoodie from valentino
colouring-in picture from hermes! its SO cute

(i didnt buy these things by the way......just thought they would be good to buy if i had some god damm money)
hermes let me take a pic to colour in though ;)

the sale online is real bad
they never have anything good on there. just trying to get rid of the stuff they dont want. the good items are usually always sold out once u click on them.

The silver Helmut Lang hi-tops could look good...I'm not sure I could pull them off myself...

When are they going to put new stuff on their website.... so i can try and get something before they are sold out of everything cool

The men's selection,for once,is better than the women's. They've got a Bernhard Willhelm scarf(last I looked,they did)that I'm having convulsions to have.

Yea, it's pretty bad. The winter sale at Barneys New York a couple weeks ago was much better and with larger discounts.

HI SEAN :flower:

IF ONLY I COULD !!!

Have you TRIED to get ANYWHERE by train , at this time !

I cannot afford to fly down from Manchester and I don't fancy driving down in my little Seat Arosa auto - the 4 to 5 hours there and back would be horrendous !!! Even with the new M6 motorway bypass around Birmingham !

Incidentally , do you think that the sales are worse for bargains this year ? I remember times when you have really been spoilt for choice , whether it's Bond Street , South Molton Street , Sloane Street , Brompton Cross or even, dare I say it , Oxford Street !!!

I remember a time when L'UOMO REGINE , of blessed memory , was full at sale time of the most gorgeous CLAUDE MONTANA leather jackets and trousers , bought in for the sale from Ideal Cuir , and all at the most amazing reductions !!!

Since you are the LONDON FASHIONISTA ' par excellence ' , do give us your overall impressions of the sales in London that us poor souls ' UP NORTH ' don't have a cat in hell's chance of getting to !!!

Yours , in anticipation ,

KIT

WOHOO!

HI APOC ( pace Issey Miyake ! ) :flower:

Listen up Chuckybabes , SURELY ( which prompts the reply - ' and don't call me Shirley !!! - the old ones are always the best ! GEDDIT !!! )

SURELY you cannot afford to indulge yourself at Browns' sale after buying that white Gucci trenchcoat and those white shoes !!!

Still , you could be one of those entrepreneurs who is actually ' rolling in it ' and you drive a Porsche 911 . Am I right or am I right ???

My regards for the New Year ( and don't od on Dsquared2 !!! )

KIT :innocent: :innocent: :innocent: :innocent:

Does anybody know what's going on with Pineal Eye? They're website has been taken down and is being used for a search engine/web site builder. It hasn't closed up has it?

HI SCOTT :flower:

I have a horrible suspicion that it HAS !!

Perhaps someone actually based in London could confirm or deny this ?

If it has closed , WHAT A LOSS !!!!

Regards , in sorrow , KIT

Overdrafts were invented to be taken out :innocent:

Maybe Pineal Eye's website wasn't profitable enough and they decided to go for high-street retail only?

HI Prince of Cats :flower:

Rather you than me !!!

STILL , there's the YVES SAINT LAURENT RIVE GAUCHE short , dark brown leather jacket , IN MY SIZE , in the FLANNELS sale in Manchester AND IT'S NOT YET GONE even though it's 50% off !!!

Do you think I should have a word with the bank manager ?

regards KIT

THANKS A MILLION for the info , SEAN :flower:

It's good news , as I feared it had folded . There was a report on WGSN that a large number of shops in Milan will fold this year , due to the recession , and I thought that THE PINEAL EYE had suffered a fate worse than death , for the same reason .

You are a real good scout , keeping an eye on everything for us , down there in the metropolis .

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!!

regards KIT

i remember being in the browns sale shop and practically bouncing with joy when i found the undercover "scab" trousers but then trying them on and making the realisation that no amount of pigging out would get me to fit into a medium!

Many thanks Acid and the rest :flower:

If I were to go to Europe in March I was planning to make a visit to London and of course that shop was on top of my agenda.

Mind you, they never updated the site although I was holding on to a glimmer of hope. They probably just lost their server and are designing a new one.

Do they have a nice flow of customs?
