It’s slightly encouraging to see sparks of what made Bruce so unique return in some small gestures for the handful of new imageries. Europe and Eastern Europe are the only welcoming places that seems to invigorate, encourage his sensibility these days. The US and the West have long shunned him and he should reject them in return, since what efforts he does make for Western mainstream fashion publications are so meek, so timid, and just outright pointless; lacking the effortless romance that’s defined him as one of the greatest fashion imagemakers of our time.
