Bruna Tenorio

She's in top 10 brazilian models 2006

BRUNA TENÓRIO
Agência: NOW MODEL MANAGEMENT
Linda, leve e hipnotizante.

^ Lovely faceshot, btw! :flower:

Here's my translation (my portuguese isn't that good, so sorry for any possible mistake......)

"Beautiful, delicate and hypnotizing. The Natural girl from Maceió enchanted for her slender, elegant figure, and for her delicate, almost flowing, catwalk. Bruna Tenório comes right in a moment of "democratization" of the fashion images; her etnical beauty - partly chinese, partly japanese, partly brazilian - already got her big campaigns as Kenzo and D&G."

^ Just for the precision - I should've pointed out before  - it didn't just say brazilian" but "from Alagoas", a state in the north-east of Brazil whose capital is actually Maceió...;)

Ppl! Let's just clarify one thing: Bruna is not PARTLY chinese, japanese and brazilian. That was actually lost in translation...

She's totally brazilian, with some indigenous parentage. Her remarkable eyes and face features that do resemble a chinese girl are actually from her indigenous heritage. :flower:

^ Aaaah...ok...I told ya my portuguese ain't that great...

So with "meio chinesa, meio japonesa, meio alagoense" what did they mean?

dear,

that would actually mean "kinda chinese, kinda japanese, kinda alagoense" (as in somebody who was born in Alagoas - Maceió, Brazil).

Oow.. so that means her great-grand mother (might be) Chinese ??

^ Do you mean Brazillian's race was originally from Portugese ? and from crossing the race too ??

I'm still confused. So they're just referring to her look then, and not her heritage? When saying she's "kinda chinese, kinda japanese...", I mean.

^yes, They are just saying she resembles someone of those areas. A lot of people from Brazil, and latin America in general ussually have Asian -like features. Like r.andreh said, its probobly just due to the mixing with indigenous communities

Bingo incogneato!!! That's just what I was trying to say. I really don't know Bruna's heritage, though I'll try and find out that info with her agent here in Brazil. As soon as I get the info, u'll all be the first to know it.

Cheers!:flower:
