Budget Friendly Makeup

^^ GB, if only we had an H&M here..... :(

I know ! It sucks not having one in Mtl... I used to hate H&M, I thought it was cheap and I couldn't find anything cute. But now I've learned to spot the nice pieces - too bad I don't have a store next to my home anymore

tFS makes H&M sound SO exciting, but when I went there this summer in NYC, it was rather depressing..... I went to the one.... in the downtown area i think (the one near the Empire State Building)...... I had NEVER seen that much people in ONE store of my entire life.... It was so crowded and messy, couldn't find anything i liked.....

It´s very messy indeed!!!

I don´t like how the items are exposed, there are so many clothes inside the shop that you have to be in the right mood to have the patience to browse trough them! :D

Where i live, there is a smaller H&M shop that only sells women clothes, and it doens´t have the children, men, lingerie and bigger sizes sections, so it´s easier to find nice items there. ;)

I can only find things i like when a shop is tidy and everything is in order! :p

I have lipsmackers in every room of the house. I always have something on my lips, and they are never ever chapped! ;)

Haha, I'm the same way! I have a lipgloss in every room, one in my car and one in my purse (my roommates are kinda creeped out by my gloss obsession)

I loooveee Boots Raspberry Fluff Lip Balm....I got in in England a few years back and I still have a bit left (I have to ration it out though...don't think I can afford a flight back to England just to buy lip gloss, lol)

I've never tried H&M's makeup. What is the price range of their cosmetics?

^ Everything from £ 4 - £ 7 depending on what you buy.
I've only bought 2 eyeshadows which were quiet good.
And I'm very loyale to their liquid eyeliner which is cheap and goes a long way.
The blush wasn't that good though, no pigment whatsoever.

^ Next time I'm passing an H&M, I should consider picking up their liquid liner...still on the search for the perfect liner... thanks for the recommendation, butterfly. :flower:

milani eyeshadows are great, as well as almay's 16 hour eye pencil

The H&M brushes are indeed very nice (especially for the price, 2€ to at most 6€), I got one e/s brush and e/s foam applicators. I'll buy the blush/contouring brush next.

If you come to Germany or Austria check out the brand "essence"'s eyeshadows! It's so cheap (1,77€) but the texture of their black e/s is nicer than MAC's! So easy to blend, even and stays on very long even without primer.

Also if you are in Austria there's this drugstore called Bipa, their black eye khols are heaven, only 2,19€ and go on like a dream. Besides it's the blackest black you can get (I compared with Highends), the only gripe: it's so soft that it smudges easily. However, my HG khol for now:heart:

L'oreal voluminous mascara!! My lashes are nothing to write home about, but with this mascara I can look like I have fake lashes on if I want to. You know, in a good way.

Blistex LipMedex. I couldn't live without this. Lipstick dries my lips out BAD no matter the brand, when I get home I have to put this on. No matter how severe your chapped lips, put this on before bed and in the morning a whole bunch of skin will shed off your lips and they'll be healed!

Ulta eyeshadow, great pigment for the price. It's the only thing I use now.

maybelline ever fresh foundation! its the best, and ive tried so many! it really makes you look super fresh and natural

Prestige Waterproof eyeliner (kohl)

Cheap cheap drug store brand
- It didn't go smudgy and it has a good texture (easy to apply), far better than any high end brand I have tried..
Great MUA reviews too..
I think it's only avaiable in the States..

nothing beats going to Sephora and trying the sample makeup there  it does have a lot of selection.......

LOL, you put this Bargain Queen to shame.

Jane blushing cheeks blush-->very pigmented and pretty shades
 For those in Canada...I found it at a supermarket..LOBLAWS since drugstores do't carry it

Avon glimmersticks eyeliner (haven't tried lip/brow pencils)

Burt's bees/softlips lipbalm

I  max factor's 2000 calorie mascara. It's been around for a long time too.
