Budget Friendly Makeup

For me the best mascara there is is Maybelline Volum´Express.
Beats all the other mascaras in my opinion!

As for cheap eyeshadows, the ones by Loreal are pretty goodin pigmentation. Some are better than mac imo.

I am dying to try that new Loreal line that is HIP and that has hiper pigmentated products.

Revlon skinlights powder is also really nice. :)

bonnie bell lip glosses- especially the clear ones! Now that I'm paying for all my own makeup (yiiiikes, it's so horrible to be an adult) I'm rediscovering my love for bonnie

Avon is the best for most anything-I love their perfumes. Mark by Avon has their line of Hook-Ups which are awesome-eyeshadow, eyeliner, shimmer powder, mascara, lipgloss-anything pretty much for $5 each, and you can mix and match.

Bonne Bell is awesome too-Smackers lip balms are the best $2 you can spend.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss-a bit more expensive but awesome. I have it in 6 shades.

Agree on the Super Lustrous lip gloss. It's pretty thick, but not disruptive thick. Cherries in the Glow is an awesome shade.

My favourite is Pink Afterglow as well as Cherry Frost.

Milani! Luminous is toted as a drugstore version of NARS orgasm. I never tried orgasm, but it's a very pretty color and I can't see it looking bad on anyone. it's a gorgeous peachy pink with a hint of golden shimmer, just gorgeous. And for $3, you can't go wrong! The color tarts to fade by the end of the day but for a $3 blush it's still amazing.

Also I love their eyeshadows, they're nicely pigmented and have a great variety of colors.

^ cardboardboxed, where can you purchase that? I'm intrigued. :flower:

And has anybody had any luck with E.L.F. Cosmetics? I guess their cosmetics are sold at some Target locations...??

Some target locations, CVS, rite aid, walgreens. I've only seen it on the east coast though. Well, I've never seen it on the west coast, but I guess that doesn't mean that it's only on the east coast.

I haven't tried ELF but I've heard that they're preety much hit or miss, but their brushes and facial shimmer whips are pretty good.

I have it in translucent and it's an amazing powder, but no real coverage. I didn't see colors at the store though! I'll check again sometime.

How do you expect a translucent powder to give coverage?! :D
Translucent powders are only to fix makeup. ;)

I didn't, I was just saying I didn't know PF made non-translucent ones, but the transculent one is still good.

Excellent. I look forward to hearing the report. :)

I just bought some NYC translucent powder for $1.99 I was pleasently suprised. It actually worked pretty well. It definetly dosn't seem like cheap kiddie makeup.

Oh I love that sutff! I have the loose powder, i use it everyday and it's amazing. I never would have guessed it was $2 if I didn't buy it myself. I'm sure i could've paid a ton more for it if it was in a different package.

NYC makeup? I'll try using more of their products. Last month I purchased NYC curling mascara. It wasn't that bad for something that cost $2. The curling mascara was ok. It wasn't clumpy and lasted throughout the day.

Hmm. Maybe I should consider that.

I use NYC bronzer, it's all right... has a bit of an orangish tone, but if I use just a bit it's just enough to accentuate my cheekbones without too much color.
