Budget Friendly Makeup

i remember people saying that Wet and Wild was getting discontinued, but in my area (Maryland) they've started selling wet and wild cleansers and skin care along with teh makeup? Anyone else?

Everybody, how about bronzer? Has anybody found any fairly inexpensive (powder, dust) bronzer that has looked good on their skin? I have pretty fair skin, so I can never go with anything too dark.

I heard good thigns about wet n wild broner, but mostly to use the lighter shae as a great shimmer powder.

My friend used to use bonne bell bronzer, I think it comes in a loose powder form and a pressed. It looked good, but it was shimmery and I know some people don't like that.

I heard the NYC's bronzer is surprizingly good too.

Milani makes a bronzer, which out of all those options is the one i would go with I think, unless the color is too dark. i've used other milani products and they're very very good.

Sorry can't help too much, I don't use bronzer..

^ No, you've been helpful. :) Actually, I've used Bonne Bell in the past and tried NYC this time around... they've all been good... so maybe it's best to stick with the cheap stuff. :innocent:

I always find that GOOD cheap bronzers are hard to find, I will look out for the Milani one though.

Another recommendation to add is Maybelline Lash Stylist, I couldn't resist Adriana Lima's 'Style your lashes' and I actually like it; it does give a good lift!

Jergins's Natural Glow has been working quite well on my arms and legs, and they have a tube for the face, if you're looking for something a bit more water-friendly.

does anyone know any good cheap pigmented eyeshadows?? I live in kuwait so we dont get any of the brands mensioned in the other threads. i really like the mac ones but i dont wanna spend too much money  thanks..

Look for Loreal shadows, i find them to be pretty goo, specially the holographic shadows thar are lovely!
Loreal has also recently launched a new line called HIP that is Hyper pigmented makeup, can´t wait to try it!!!

Bourjois shadows are also quite nice and have a huge range of colours ;)

As for bronzer i read it in style.com, that the Wet´n´wild bronzer is actually one of the best! :o
Never tried it though as it isn´t available here...

Milani, nyx, presteige are great brands. I dont know if they're in kuwait, but maybe you can find a site with international shipping? gl

I would love to know about that site too if it exists! :D
...most Us based companies don´t sell off to Europe and other countries, which is a shame... :(

No7 stuff is pretty good (a lot of the time it is on offer so it works out at quite good value) I'd reccomend the cleansers, lipsticks, glosses and the natural tone eyshadows they have great pigmentation ;)
ive love the No7 makeup, ive tried the eyeshadow, the eyemake up remover-it is really good and lasts ages- and the glosses. I got all of these for only £1 cos sometimes they do a spend £10 get a £5 of No7 voucher @ Boots. The 17 mascara is pretty good as well as are the glosses, but the pressed powder didnt work for me atall; it didnt cover up my skin at all. Other cheap stuff i love is:
#Burts Bees Lipbalm
#Natural Collection Lipgloss in Mango Mania, a gorgeous colour and sparkley but not too sparkley
#FCUK eyeshadow in Pixie Dust, i got this in the sale for £3
Does anyone no of a cheapish mascara (that i can buy in the UK) that does not make eyelashes look like spiders legs, as my eyelashes are quite long so mascara often does that? Also has anyone tried Airbrush Concelar by Clinique, if so is it any good? sorry i ask to many questions! :flower:

http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/ ships all over the world, including kuwait
Their loose pearl shadows are amazing, IMHO, they're better than mac pigments I think.

https://houseofgable.com/ carries milani and jordana, doesn't ship to kuwait, but ships to some european countries

Thnak you sweetie!!! :flower:

Eta: What products do you recommend by both brands, besides the loose pearl shadows?
Are the regular eyeshadows worth? I like the colours that they carry such as the orange, red, yellow, are they as good as Mac´s?
Thanks! :)

Yes, the regular shadows are good.. I have a couple of the trio sets. They're pretty good, last all day. The colors are matte though, and I prefer more shimmery colors, but I just layer a shimmer over it. I heard their blush is really good, but I've personally not tried it.

As for milani, their e/s are really good, and their blush in luminous is a direct knockoff of nars orgasm... a gorgeous pink with subtle golden shimmers. It's honestly soo beautiful. The only bad thing about milani's blush is that they're VERY soft... so they tend to crack and crumble. :( They're still usable, but it can be a bit of a hassle so i figured I'd give you the heads up.

The shipping in the Nyx site is a bit too high, which in the end will prob cost me as much as buying Mac :o
...and the packet would end up in customs too...so more money to be added to that!:(

In the end, for 4 eyeshadows and a loose pearl powder, i would end up paying about $55... :o:o:o
