Look for Loreal shadows, i find them to be pretty goo, specially the holographic shadows thar are lovely!
Loreal has also recently launched a new line called HIP that is Hyper pigmented makeup, can´t wait to try it!!!

Bourjois shadows are also quite nice and have a huge range of colours ;)

As for bronzer i read it in style.com, that the Wet´n´wild bronzer is actually one of the best! :o
Never tried it though as it isn´t available here...

I agree, i love l'oreal shadows, and their mascara is great! I really want to try HIP, i've seent the colours and they are great, comparable to MAC!

The shipping in the Nyx site is a bit too high, which in the end will prob cost me as much as buying Mac :o
...and the packet would end up in customs too...so more money to be added to that!:(

In the end, for 4 eyeshadows and a loose pearl powder, i would end up paying about $55... :o:o:o
Oh no!! I think you could try ebay, there are prob some sellers who sell nyx and will prob ship internationally!

well my new make-up foundation costed like 15 € but i think it was rather cheap for foundation.. and i'm in love. maxfactor flawless perfection

Drugstore brands I like are:

- Maybelline
- Rimmel
- Bonne Bell (lips only)

I liked CoverGirl before they changed everything and got rid of their pencil eyeshadow/eyeliners and skinny lipsticks.

I have mentioned ELF products here before, but wanted to give special mention to the mascara. It is probably the best mascara I have ever used!!

^ I'm still upset their products aren't in Chicagoland Targets! I always look when I go into one, but never see their cosmetics in-store. :(

I jsut got a loreal blush delice in front page peach. It was like $9 which is a bit much for a drugstore blush but the pan is HUGE! And the color is sooo gorgeous... like nars orgasm I think

Elf is decent, their concealers are too sheer, 6 layers and it looks like you didn't put it on.

I love Maybelline Full n' Soft mascara. 99% of the time I don't have to go back through my lashes w/ a comb. Covergirl smoothers concealer also works very well and is about $4 C for a stick.

I've got L'Oreal CJ in Iced Latte, it was quite a good lipgloss for the cheap price, people say they don't compare to Juicy Tubes, but I think they're kind of over rated. However the L'oreal one's definately worth it!

I called ELF about this(b/c I'm moving soon and was curious!) and the person I spoke with said the best bet RIGHT NOW for Chicago is to order online. So by 'right now' does he mean that sometime it will be available in stores??

I hate ordering online unless I have a few things to get since shipping costs $5, so it feels weird to pay $6 total for one thing that costs $1

Those are my sentiments. Unless you buy in bulk, you're kind of defeating the purpose of affordable makeup.

Interesting info, too, shoegal2183. :)

i know that girls on the makeup board i mod, they like milani e/s that's found at drug stores.

mm...i like almay's ideal gloss in wine. i just put on a lil bit and tap it all over, and lips have a very pouty, bitten look to them that i love...
almay nearly naked fondation- it works for me tho ive heard alot of people dising it.
and physicians formulabaked blush in baked ginger-yum! i believe its the same color as loreals baked ginger and it has about twice the amount
and my friend, carmex...i have like 8 pans allover my houseand at work

by the way...i use bare mineras, and i was wondering if anyones tried those new mineral foundations from l'oreal, physicians formula, and neutrogena- do they compare with bare minerals?

^i tired neutrogenas and they totally sucked. i would stick to BE! it looked cakey and blegh. not at all creamy like BE.

cheap product I love- sonia kashuk cheek sheers are so fantastic!

Have you tried drugstore.com? They have free shipping right now for about $29 order or so ... I wanted some Rimmel, went ahead and ordered shampoo, shower gel, stuff like that that I would be buying soon anyway to get free shipping ... kept me from having to go to Walmart :innocent:
