Burberry S/S 2023 London

I don't know if it's sympathy because of the recent Daniel Lee appointment, but I kind of enjoy the fact that this collection now feels like bit of a "f*ck it" moment. Very Tammie Brown spinning you round and round, giving you crazy and honestly why not!

Still think it's a pretty terrible collection for the most part, but hey nothing like a huge finger to the general gist of things because you've had enough. It is the most Tisci-esque collection he's done so this really makes a lot of sense. Just wished he pushed the wit and humour a little bit more.

Those last three gowns would have been fabulous during Couture week! Literally!

Such a waste….

absolutely! they’re incredible!

a little off topic here but:
if Tisci is leaving Burberry where could he go after?
surely it’ll be in 2 years or so, but…?

I seriously believe he’s the designer that without the pressure of a brand behind him, he could smash with a line of his own. something not huge for start but definitely I see him having success. I have always loved his aesthetic… he’s very well established in the fashion world and seems to have plenty of followers…

however, could he be a possibility for Chanel? :ninja:

I think that company is awful. Should have always stayed for duty free only. And whats up with their insistence on “britishness” and “british” designer. Pathetic, and racist if you asked me.
Tisci did so much for bringing it for anyone to even consider this lousy “british” brand .
