Phoebe Philo’s pre-fall collection for Celine focused on boyish looks and men’s wear fabrics, with a nod to Mod. She made a strong tailoring statement by way of boxy jackets and trenchcoats, some with contrasting riding-coat collars, as well as sleek cigarette pants and buttoned-up shirts with small collars. Patchworks of Japanese denim, loden and military felt added textural interest to the lineup

It's very hit-or-miss. Some pieces are great whereas others are fugly. The tailoring is impeccable as always.

Fantastic collection. I'm really happy Phoebe is moving Celine forward season after season. I was afraid it would be stuck in minimalism forever. This is still minimal, but with great textures and prints. Even though there is a lot going on (plaid, denim patchwork, metallic, camouflage, leopard, matte vs shine, leather & knit), the collection manages to remain cohesive.

The one I've been waiting for. The awkward pictures of them walking really annoy me. Thank god it wasn't as bad as the Resort one.

I liked the resort this looks emmm tacky and bad , satin skinny pants , i mean seriously ??? I hope her main fall collection is nothing like this . Terrible coats , pants , it looks like an ugly child of Marni and Jil Sander

pointy front shoes just look tacky , platforms will always look classy , fur tails on purses ????? wtf

well phoebe philo certainly has upset the apple cart over there with the anna wintour crowd: seriously, at a time when the vogue troops call for the full pant and the elevator platform, celine shows us that the skinny leg with the cute stiletto heel still looks as relevant as ever.

This collection is    I mean what heck is with all the lepoard prints and ugly plaid and not to mention the horid color blocking

There are some ok pecies like the last 2 looksin post #4 on ward but the rest is a mess

^^^^ most people are still wearing skinny legs so its nothing revolutionary . In any case her main collections differ considerably from her main line , Her first pre spring collection showed all skinny pants and her main collection for spring 2010 was all high waisted wide legs ,she mixes it up , though she is still known for her chloesque wide legs

this collection is terrible , a cacophony of prints and terrible satiny pants and kitten heels lol , I will wait till March fingers crossed!

Don't like the satin items and fur tails, but the rest looks quite good.

I freaking hate patchwork, but not here - the colours and the softness of it are immense. Hate the tartan and not entirely sold on the denim trench yet, but that floor length rectangle coat? Those final black dresses? Absolute. Beauty.

I like how different it looks from anything we've seen in a while.. she's definitely pushing new trends, I'm not sure I'm a fan of most of them but I find it so refreshing and interesting to examine.
