Tough almost Russian military of yore feel to this collection. I like it personally. It is a very different take on military. Additionally, the pieces in that black and white splash graphic print are spectacular. Want each of them. Today!

I think it's a little off-trend, but then McQueen has never really followed any sort of formula. I don't find anything particularly spectacular in this collection though.

I think most of those pieces would go very well with Balenciaga and Balmain. The 'slight' military inspiration and sometimes austere cut would blend perfectly with those 3. Some of the shoes and metal details look *very* Balenciaga and the coats with brass buttons could be mistaken for Balmain's.
