The couple then headed over to the Aria Hotel & Casino for dinner. The day before, Cameron, 38, and Alex, 35, grabbed some sweets at Sugar Factory inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Later in the evening, the two attended the star-studded grand opening of Marquee Nightclub inside The Cosmopolitan.

According to our source, A-Rod waited patiently while Cam shopped quickly for blush Elizabeth + James lizard evening pumps at the boutique in the new Cosmopolitan Hotel. She asked his opinion: “Babe, what do you think?” He liked the stacked front $299 four-inch-high pumps. But Alex gave a thumbs down to a navy shimmery Vivienne Westwood cocktail dress for $800 that a salesperson suggested. “No, babe,” was his terse judgment. The couple — who were just vacationing with A-Rod’s two young daughters, Natasha, 6, and Ella, 2, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico — were in a hurry to find the heels. Cam, 38, tried them on for A-Rod, 35, to check out before paying herself for the shoes. The couple looked happy to be hanging together and were dressed casually in jeans. A-Rod wore a plaid shirt and a leather jacket and Cameron was in a sweater and jacket with red lipstick and uncombed long blonde hair. “Are you going to the concert tonight too?” Cam asked another boutique shopper who had complimented her on her shoes, referring to the Coldplay/Jay-Z New Year’s Eve show at the Cosmopolitan. She said that she and Alex would be there. The pair — who called each other “babe” repeatedly — seemed really comfortable and happy to be together and were exceptionally polite to everyone in the shop. “Have fun tonight!” Cameron sang out to the other shopper she’d been talking to, as she and her man headed out with her purchase.
