I've always prided myself on having healthy, thick, nicely colored hair that I barely have to do anything to in order for it to look good. Then in the spring, a few weeks into chemo, it started falling out like crazy, so I preemptively shaved it all completely off. It stopped falling out and started coming back, but it's been so thin, awful texture, and growing at a snail's pace. In 5 months it's grown maybe 4 centimeters and it looks beyond disgusting. I've been taking multiple vitamins and collagen peptides, to no avail. Anyone ever experienced something similar and were you able to fix it? I've been told I need to just wait it out, but it's hard to accept that.
