He looked stupid if you ask me. If you're going to a black tie thing then wear a black tie (not nec a bow tie) and a dinner suit. It's just what you should do. These things are not the occassion to experiment. It's not bad taste to dress properly.

I never said I liked his outfit. It was O.K., but what I'm saying is that he is the only one who really dressed like he had some taste. Not those celebrities who grab anything of the rack that has a high price tag and says "Gucci", "Valentino", or "Versace" on it.

I know what you're saying Arturo. As you could guess, I'm not advocating Versace Valentino etc. I just thought his outfit looked bad and I don't think he's got much taste in the clothing dept either. I don't think he'd say that he had. He's eccentric and doesn't play the hollywood game I guess, which is good. Clive Owen had a nice dinner suit on with a black tie. It looked tasteful to me. That's what I was thinking of more than tacky blue gowns.

Yea, it was slightly tacky. What I was going against were the boring Gucci suits that they all wore. I mean, Mr. Townsend who thinks he's all hot because he ed Carol Christian Poell, an exclusive label could have worn CCP suit instead of Gucci. Shows he only wears CCP because it's exclusive.

The thing about Depp is that he's more original and goes against the common flow.
