TO ALL CCP FANS,


Just FYI,

I have been doing some digging and checking back and forth the prices. I am annoyed that these retailers are racking up a lot of HUGE profit from CCP.

One classic example is A. Please bear in mind that I have nothing against A. but after my incident I do have my doubts

I bought the CCP boots from A this season for $1200(Maxfield sells for $1470 approx.). Which I think is the most amazing boots and one of the most versatile I have seen for a very long time.

So, after I got the boots, I enquire at A about past season boots, the sales guy, not to name names, told me the boots cost $1300 for the blue leather one with bucle closure. THIS IS PAST SEASON. For one thing I know it cost $900 and since it is also past season, A had a sale so it should be at least half off, granted that they do carry over the season. so $900, but $1300??? WTF

I have been told that CCP has been doing EXTREMELY well lately and that the line is so limited the retailers are hiking up the prices.

Well.. just that I wanted you guys to not get sucked into high prices.

BUT, nevertheless, TO EACH HIS OWN. I am willing to pay what I think it is worth. I am not saying bad things about CCP or A. I would just like everyone to know that the prices are going UP and VERY HEAVILY.

I am still a strong supporter of CCP, but I am now putting the brake on and holding back on paying full retail prices now. I used to think CCP is expensive because it is limited and it is true, but knowing the history of prices hiking... I am really really taken back.

I am now waiting may be the sales time to get the pieces

Well, just to say.

In general CCP has never sold boots below the $1200-1300 mark.

But, Ionn has a very valid point.

Thanks for all the pics,raij. I'm loving how the jackets look. Annoyingly enough, CCp's new cuts fit me really well now...damn. There goes my excuse for not buying them! Thankfully I have pants like those longjohn ones (albeit from Cloak), and I won't be needing a second pair.

I'm loving that poncho/ button-down quite a bit. It's so extreme, but I doubt I would get it - wear it once, and everyone knows it, so you can rarely get away with wearing it too often. Or so I think. I might have to make a knock-off in Hong Kong for about $15!

I edited my post after you responded - no one has done a poncho button-down - it's so sick! I love it. But it's also so easy to copy. Not that I think it'll be any good without the CCP name behind it to validate the extreme design...

Hedi at Dior has done a great deal of convincing in having that slouched look
