i will accept your apology and give you this analogy regarding experience...
just like you don't have to see a collection to appreciate it but it's still not the same as seeing it in person...
it is the same with experience...
seeing it in person firsthand is not the same as reading about it or hearing about it...it just gives you more perspective because you can appreciate it in a different way...you can see all the details close up and you understand it differently...and you might actually decide that you hate it...
i'm still on the fence about this whole business....i still love fashion...but the business is a beast...it eats people alive...i've seen it...over and over...and it's one thing when you read that some designer has gone out of business...but it's another thing when it's your very close friend who has lost their company and probably their life's dream...
experience is not always fun scott...but i am proud of the work that i've done and i'm not going to hide my experience because i've worked hard to get it...
and in your words...i am one of the 'indies'...i've done things on my own terms and only worked with people i respected and believed in...(well-mostly, we all make errors in judgement

)
so i will not penalize you for your lack of experience and i expect you will not resent the fact that i have some...it's not a competition...we're all just sharing what we've got...
