^I agree! It annoys me so much when I don't know who the model is. Harper's Bazaar always lists the models in their eds, but that's the only magazine I can think that does.

^^ Yeah, W and Interview and sometimes Elle will, but Vogue- who pays the poor models a couple of hundred bucks for the honor of being in it, never says...

two thought:
i have always *hated* when they did credit the models. i love models (i guess we all do on this site!), and not only do i want to know who i am admiring, i also feel it is disrespectful to the girls.

second thought, i found that "summer girls" story sexier and hotter than the gisele cover shoot. don't get me wrong, gisele looks hot in that one topless picture (covering herself with her elbows), but this summer girls story, with pretty girls smiling, in sexy flirting dresses, in heels, on the street, is beautiful, sweet, fun, fresh, and SUPER HOT. these girls have some fantastic legs on them!

i wonder who the other girl is...with the baby blue dress.... : ( (the same issue again!)

Just the one shot, but she looks adorable! ^_^

if only i had the time to read the GQs from the last 4 months i would have seen this ed :innocent::lol: she does look so incredibly adorable there - her smile is radiant. thanks for the scan :flower:

Caroline’s Sports Corner: European Cup Semifinals Update!

carolineeurocup1.jpg

Hi, everyone! I’m Caroline Winberg–23 years old, a native of Sweden. Most readers of The Daily and Chic Report probably know me as a model, my full-time gig for the last six years. But you probably don’t know that my biggest passion in life is sports. It’s been my life since age 6–when I wasn’t on the soccer field, I’d be storming the tennis court. On sunny days, I’d run track or play beach volleyball. During the cold months, I’d hit the ski slopes until my feet were frozen, begging my parents to let me go up the lift one more time.
Most favorite teams are out of running for the Cup, and pretty much everyone I cheered for got their firm, toned behinds kicked! The French didn’t even make it to the quarter finals. Portugal, who played in the finals in 2004, were beaten by the Germans. Russia shocked everyone by taking out the Dutch.
Spain beat the Italians in the quarterfinal this weekend. The game was so boring to watch that I had to force myself to sit through the overtime and penalty shots. So at this point, I don’t even know who I will cheer for anymore. Should I go for Spain because my best friend is half Spanish? Germany because they look like the Swedes? Turkey because of the dark, mysterious men in their lands? Or Russia, the most unexpected winners? I’ll think I will pick Russia. How does this country even get to play in the European Cup when all of the Russian models I know go through a lot of problems just to get a European visa? I’m puzzled and confused. I don’t know the names of any of the Russian players. I haven’t seen any of their games, but I will cheer for them. Sometimes, the most unexpected winner is the best one!

Hey guys thanks so much for all the pix in this thread... I've been going through the entire thing (I know... loooooong)! Caroline is probably one of my absolute favorite models (joint with Stam, Jula and Lisa Cant :)). Am I the only one who kinda misses the old Caroline though? She seems to have grown up so fast!

Wow from what I can see she looks amazing (shame it's so small :(). But thanks for sharing!!!

It’s definitely a good year for Spain. First, they won the European Cup for the first time since 1964, then Nadal won the French Open and Wimbledon. During the Wimbledon finals, I was out in the Hamptons with some friends and we got up early Sunday morning to watch. It’s raining in London, as usual, and the match is delayed. After breakfast and a run, we get back to watch Nadal and Federer in the middle of first set.
I’m so happy to see Nadal taking the lead, since Federer normally is the stronger player on grass. Even though Nadal kicked Federer’s behind in the French Open winning three straight sets in a row, I was worried Federer would win Wimbledon and break Bjorn Borg’s record. Another rain delay leads to a pick-up soccer game in the yard. When the match resumes, Nadal has a few chances of winning but Federer keeps fighting.
In the end of the fifth set Federer finally hits the ball into the net on Nadal’s match point. Don’t know if he missed the easy shot because it was almost dark or because they both are exhausted from playing the longest Wimbledon final ever. Nadal wins and we are all cheering! I even get tears in my eyes as he runs up and hugs his parents and the Prince of Spain.
I can’t be more excited about the U.S. Open now. Hopefully, I will be there watching Nadal win. The only difference will be the color of his clothes, I’m sure they won’t be white…
