^hmmm dont know what to make of this look, kinda strange choice for Cate, I like the leather jacket but the plaid jumper and shoes are not working for me.

The outfit is all wrong, where is the elegant Cate? The jacket looks 70's in a bad shiny vinyl way, the plaid shirt dress looks thin and cheap and the shoes are all wrong. I think that the worst is the messy hair and careless look of her makeup.

Cate's on the cover of Intelligent Life without being airbrushed and I think she looks beautiful. I haven't heard of the mag before though.

I think I have that magazine at my mother's house. If I recall it was quite a lengthy interview with her and Andrew, not very many pictures. I could scan it if anyone's interested?

Cate Blanchett is currently in the City of Light performing 'Big and Small' with the Sydney Theatre Company. While on break from performing Blanchett, her husband, Andrew Upton and three sons, Dashiell (b. December 3, 2001,) Roman (b. April 23, 2004) and Ignatius (b. April 13, 2008) tour the sights of the city, visiting the Louvre and the Arc de Triomphe, among other landmarks.
