Cate Blanchett

On Tuesday afternoon, Cate left her New York City hotel in a blue and red Vionnet dress complete with red ruffle detail on the shoulder. Silver Roger Vivier pumps were her shoes of choice.

She looked amazing throughout the whole press junket - cate made red carpet fashion interesting again ..

That's a super stylish necklace at the airport; adds just the right touch to that look too.

I would just love to pick her brain. You know how there are certain celebrities out there that make you feel like you've lost brain cells after listening to them - she has the opposite effect on me.

I saw Blue Jasmine on Friday night and Cate Blanchett was sublime in it; all of her gestures, facial expressions, and body language was pitch perfect. She'll def. get nominated for a GG and probably will win the GG for Best Actress - Comedy.

Lolasvelt, thank you so much for the DP/30 interview!!!

Love listening to Cate. Excellent excellent interview.

I'm not totally found of her looks promoting BJ (hate the Balenciaga), but her recent casual looks at airports are absolutely perfect!

I can't wait to see Blue Jasmine. Cate is easily one of the best actresses working these days (if not the best). This movie brought her what probably are the best reviews of her career - a career that was already pretty lauded. If she's really as good as people claim - and I have no reason to think otherwise - I hope she wins the Oscar for Best Actress this year.

Also, with BJ and Monuments Men coming out later this year, it means we'll be seeing her a lot on the red carpet. That's great news. I don't always love what she wears, but she takes risks and gets it right more often than most actresses. With that said, I'm probably the only one, but I hated her look when she won the Oscar for The Aviator. It was just so conventional and safe (yeah, the yellow color, but still). I want something sleek and edgy.

Giorgio Armani 'Si' fragrance:

this has to be one one of the most perfect celeb/designer ad campaigns. she actually truly looks like herself, no touch-ups where she looks waxy, I can see the lines around her eyes just naturally stunning   didn't think it possible to admire her more but i do
