Anyone here seen Hot Fuzz? Kate plays the gf of the main character, she's a CSI so she appears wearing a full protective suit and mask so you wouldn't really know it was her. Apparently she was a huge fan of Shaun of the Dead.

I knew it was her ahead of time and so I paid attention to her voice and the only part of her face you can see - her eyes. Definitely her. It's on her IMDB page.

Peter Jackson also has a cameo as the santa who stabs Sgt Angel.

Peter is really a blink and you'll miss him thing, they flash up a pic of a santa in a suit stabbing sgt angel and then it is gone. Hard to tell it is Pete.

For sure if you concentrate on Cate's voice and eyes then you'll know it is her.

Maybe it's harder to recognize because she was doing an English accent? Her appearance was really brief and she's wearing a mask over her face, I only realized it was her because my friend told me Cate Blanchett was playing Sgt Angel's girlfriend
