I've been a Nicole Kidman and Renee Zellweger fan for years and Cate had flown under my radar. But browsing through this thread I've realized that she has worn so many of the gowns that I have drooled over - including my favourite gown ever - the yellow gown she wore to the 2005 Oscars.
^ Thanks! I've been a member for a while - but I haven't posted till now. It took Cate to bring me out of my 'lurker' status.
I'll be back though - I'm hooked on Cate now. . . can't wait to see what she will wear next.
I'm still going through this thread - she wears outfits that I just can't see any other star getting away with. Amazing!
^ She is truly unique! She has a great eye and she is a risk taker. She never looks foolish, though like many people who make choices away from the norm. her personal style is very admirable
Aussie actress Cate Blanchett and her husband, Andrew Upton, enjoyed a evening on the town out at the opening night performance of Exit the King at the Belvoir Street Theatre in Sydney. The play stars Blanchett's Elizabeth co-star Geoffrey Rush, who has received raves for his performance as a king who refuses to take death lying down.
nobody in hollywood pulls of meswear with such edginess, sexiness and plain gorgeousness.amazing look for her!
and her husband is kind of goofy, but he looks quite charming and seems to adore her
