She may have already scooped an Oscar but Australian beauty Cate Blanchett scored another personal high when she went on a lunch date with legendary designer Giorgio Armani.


And the 44-year-old beauty dressed to impress as she looked more like a catwalk model than an actress for her special appointment with the famed designer in Milan on Thursday.


The 5 ft 8 inch tall Melbourne actress - who famously won the best supporting actress in 2005 for playing screen legend Katharine Hepburn in The Aviator - wore a stunning cream colored flowing pant suit for her VIP date.

Well she is not in her 20s anymore.
She looks normal for her age, person who lives her life and don´t spend time trying to freeze time and her face.

Quote from her:

Anyway, when I was younger I was obsessed with her. Even taking her pictures to hair dresser and getting same hair cut and hoping I would look like her.
well, it did not happen and I learned that short hair is not for me hahah

Personally, I think Cate's face looks lived in. Meaning that they are someone who has stories to tell. I'd much rather see a women with a few wrinkles and laugh lines then someone who's so made up with nips and tucks that it seems fake (nothing against nips and tucks themselves, just the idea of looking so plastic). So to me, she seems to exemplify one way to age gracefully.

I don't care if she has lines under her eyes, Cate is beautiful and talented and I would much prefer to watch her onscreen that a lot of actresses who are in their 20s.

I think what makes her look old is not her face, actually I think her face looks great, but her style. those last looks in Milan are the perfect example of it, the suits make her so old, formal, very conservative and matronly.

Well if you compare Cate's face to Nicole Kidman, who are 2 years apart. Cate wins. Nicole's face looks strange when she smiles and unnatural. And of course Cate has wrinkles, it's expected at her age but you can't deny she is still very beautiful.

Also compare Cate to the average 44 year old person and you would definitely agree she looks amazing for her age!
