Gorgeous model Catherine McNeil is back and in hot shape
GORGEOUS Catherine McNeil looks to be in the shape of her life - not bad for someone who reckons she's unfit.
After a two-year break, a refreshed McNeil returned home before Christmas to shoot swimwear brand Seafolly's collection for next summer.
"You're nervous before you do swimwear anyway but coming home and just being an Australian, I'm more nervous because I'm representing the country. I feel a little unfit at the moment but I'm trying to do a bit of exercise every day," McNeil says.
It's her second campaign for the Seafolly label, her last being in 2008.
The 22-year-old brunette, who has graced the cover of French Vogue and modelled for Christian Dior, Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent, took herself out of the spotlight to travel the world and find herself but is back and rea
"I just took some time off for myself," says McNeil, who began modelling at 13. "I took time for me and hung out with my friends. Now, I've got more of an appreciation of the business and know a bit more about myself."
Prior to taking time off, McNeil was briefly engaged to television presenter Ruby Rose.
"It's like any job, it has its ups and its downs," she said, adding that one of the toughest things about modelling is the jet lag.
"The jet lag is not great, but it's good in that you get to go to places that you would only ever dream of going."
