i've seen Molly Sims in Cosi coffee shop, Sandra Bullock looking at paintings on the street me and my friend were driving by and were stopped at a red light so she yelled out to her "hi Sandra!" and she was like "hi", she was laughing too cuz it was kinda funny, saw Milla Jovovich in Anna Sui boutique, she's stunning, just surreal looking, she was wearing this really pretty red and white sun dress, saw Tom Aarnold with some blonde on his lap in Serrendipity, saw Katie Holmes in Tao, me and my b/f were waiting in the lounge area for our table and it was really really packed and she walked in and was just standing there with some friends and he bumped into her accidentally so she gave him like the dirtiest, the most evil look, seems like a bitchy girl to me, saw the Margiulis woman from ER in Japonica restaurant, met Jai from Queer eye for the straight guy in Crobar in Miami last New Years they were hosting a party there, saw Derek Jeter in Sky Bar in Miami, saw Daria walking down the street in Soho she is gooorgeous, saw Liev Schreiber in the village, me and a bunch of friends like, attacked him almost, lol, were were all standing there talking to him and telling him how much we like his work, he looked really uncomfortable and then hailed a cab and went off. I think this is it, sorry such a long post. )

Okay, Lunabella, you may have gone over this in The Strokes thread, but what was the experience with those two like? Anyway, I haven't really met any celebrities, but I have seen:
Gwyneth Paltrow (pretty, but not amazing-looking)
Jude Law & Sienna Miller (he's obviously hot, and she was tiny, super cute, and well-dressed)
Harvey Keitel (looked old)
Greg Giraldo (comedian)
Matthew Broderick (in The Producers)
Brian Dennehy, Vanessa Redgrave, and Phillip Seymour Hoffman (in A Long Day's Journey Into Night)
Luke and Owen Wilson (Owen was very friendly and approachable and talked to a lot of people at the restaurant)
Peter Boyle (the dad from Everybody Loves Raymond)

Elizabeth Hurley (looked like she just rolled out of bed, but she was still beautiful)

Mia Farrow- She wasn't wearing any Make-up and she looked a little tired and washed out
James Earl Jones- looks like he does on the verizon commercials
Gaby Hoffman- went to the same college as I did. I said 'hi' to her once or twice (she said 'hi' back) but that's it. I never really "met" her, but a few of my friends knew her (they had classes with her and such) and said she was really sweet.

I saw P Diddy last summer when he was in A Raisin in the Sun. Afterwards my friend and I waited at the back door or whatever. The mom from The Cosby Show came out and she was really nice, took pictures with everybody. We waited for like an hour just because we didn't feel like going back to our hotel room, P Diddy never came out.. But it was fun just waiting there and talking to everyone else who was waiting..

I have met Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry at The Whole Ten Yards premeir in L.A. . I have seen Kate Bosworth shopping in L.A.. She was in jeans, brown sandels and a short-sleeved white/cream top. That's all.

A question: what were MK&A like, to those of you who met them? Many people say they're quite bitchy.. Don't really want to believe that.

About a little over a year, I met MK and I only saw Ashley from a few feet away with her bf (it was Matt Kaplan then...he's really tall) They are soo short (i could tell when Ashley walked by me...and I'm barely 5'3 so Ashley was like 5'0) Marykate was wearing a vintage shirt and a pink knitted cap. She had on a scarf and tons of black bracelets. You could see just how skinny she was because her neck bone was really visible and her cheeks are sunken in...MK was sitting down at a table with like 3 of her brunette friends. MK was really really sweet...but I could see all her friends like glaring at me when I went up to her and asked for a pic. She looked around the restaurant and said, "ok, but quickly." And that was that.

I know you only asked about MK&A but I'll just share some of my other stories with celebs:

When I met Jenniffer Garner, she was the SWEETEST person! She was on location filming Alias and my friends and I went up to her. She was very nice and it was funny becuse she asked my friends and I what our names were and then she was like "Nice to met you. I'm Jenniffer" (as if we didnt know )

Sophia Bush was super nice as well and beautiful. She was willing to take pictures with everyone that asked. She was wearing a tweed purple chanel bag (I complimented on it like twice to her lol...It really was super cute) SHe drove a BMW. Her wedding ring was GORGEOUS!

I met Randy Jackson in Maui and he was with his children and wife. He flew in first class and all the kids were playing their handheld Nintendo games. He was very willing to take a picture with me and my friend. The first time the flash didnt go off and he was like "ooh maybe we should take another one because the flash didnt go off on that one."

I was in an elevator with Mary-Kate at the Hyatt in Toronto when they were filming New York Minute and then Ashley was waiting in the lobby for her. (This was in 2003 and I was almost 17 years-old.) I'm almost positive there was a pretty well-known photograph taken of MK & A that day because she was wearing her bright blue cotton newsboy hat, lots of accessories, torn jeans, and a blazer. Ashley was dressed pretty similar. They were very, very short, even shorter than the magazines say. I'm 5'7" and I towered over them, they must've been like barely 5'0". Mary-Kate was really nice, I didn't really want to talk to her because I hate being one of those "annoying fans" but she stopped her conversation with her friend (she was an older woman, I think maybe a manager or something) and mentioned that she liked my purse. I just said thanks and that was that.

Although their hair was similar at this time, I knew it was MK because she was talking about Ashley to the older woman. Something about how they made fun of the way their dad talked. I wasn't really star-struck because it was right before the big anorexia scandal broke-out so they had been out of the lime light/tabloids for quite awhile. I didn't notice that she was super skinny, only that she was really, really tiny. You could tell she was a celebrity instantly by the way she was dressed: for some reason it was just really different but it looked good. I sometimes wonder why they dress so differently if they absolutely hate having paparazzi pictures taken of them/being spotted by paparazzi because they do really stand out like that.

Well the only international "star" I have met was Robert Luketic, the director of legally blonde. Thie was when I was doing work experience at a paper and was really encouraging and wished me luck on my career. Nice guy.

Oh and me and my friend saw Glenn Close drive past once when she was here filming a movie.
