What's the story?

NOthing spectacular I'm afraid..He was filming near where we used to live and during a break he sidled on up and started chatting her up, then asked to meet up later...she said no cos he had a boyfriend at the time. Fair enough obviously...the only thing was that she split up with her man anyway not long after that!!!

Hmm. Not sure if above post is about Jared Leto also but he was filming a movie (way long time ago) and my friend lived on the street where they were shooting scenes. She was YOUNG - like 15 but he was young too (this was probs 10-12 years ago).

He asked her out, they did, and...the rest is history (well until he left when filming was done).

Am trying to think about who else I've met..

my celeb encounters:

in london: i met arnold schwartzenagger (@ harrods), he was actually quite nice
and andre agessi and brooke shields (when they were still dating a while ago) @ a restaurant

in toledo ohio: katie holmes (in the local grocery store) my mom grew up in toledo where katie holmes used to live.. my grandparents still live there, so @ christmas 2 years ago she was home for xmas as well and a met her in the grocery, she was cute

@ my highschool: virginia madsen (she was an alumn so she was a speaker for this all school seminar we had)

@ a neighbors house: liz phair, her mom lives 2 houses down from us so we've met her and her family various times

filming oceans 12: julia roberts, george clooney, jerry garcia (our family friends house was used for the opening scene)

in north carolina: george bush (last fall my aunt and uncle hosted a fundraiser for his election)

a bunch of bands @ concerts... and then a bunch of sports players

when i was in the bahamas, i went scuba diving with stuart's cove and they told me the meanest celebrity they have ever encountered was Michael Jordan. And theyve encountered lots of celebrities (who shoot movies there, have houses there)

Lindsay Lohan at Mansion and Skybar
Fat Joe (haha) at Mansion- my friend was wasted and grabbed his butt fat joe was cracking up it was hilarius
Paris Hilton at Mansion, Skybar, Mynt, BED, ect. pretty much every hot spot
Mischa Barton at Mansion- she looked like an idiot because in Miami no one cares when they see celebs but she thought she was such a big deal and was wearing sunglasses and a baseball hat the whole time
Anna Kournikova and Enrique at BED- Anna gave me the evil eye cuz I was talking to him haha
other rappers- ja rule, lil john, ect. at BED
Shaq and Dwane Wade and all the other Heat players at Dwane's birthday party at BED
Outkast at Mansion
MK and A at Skybar after the VMAs..they were sooo blocked off it was kinda lame

I saw Larry King walking down Rodeo Dr. one day... he was in a hurry and wasnt looking up...
I also saw Shawn Wayanes at a record store (Virgin or Tower, I dont remember) on another trip to LA... he smiled at me. And I didnt know what to say...
I got extremely good seats to a LA Clippers game and saw Frankie Nunez sitting in his courtside seats...He looks like he is 12 (this was a year ago at the most) and has REALLY bad acne...

shopping with her mom at a boutique in greenwich, onnecticut. she's much bigger even than she looked on TV and in the tabs, i'd put her at 5'5"/220 lb, and she was wearing a black blouse and a long black skirt. she only looked at scarves and other accessories, none of the clothes would have fit.

hmm, and travis birkenstock from clueless, whatever his real name is, walking towards times square. he checked out my friend and i really long and hard, and then pulled out his (very expensive) cell phone and made a call. very small, probably 5'4" or 5'5", and very well dressed (expensive slacks, shiny black shoes, collared shirt under cashmere sweater)

Here's the (not very special) story :
Went ice-skating at the Wollman in December, had never been before and managed to skate right into her and take her out. The darling she was, she helped me up and we did a few laps together, she gave me tips on balance and speed, cause she was doing all the cool speedy backwards complex stuff!

She was turning heads like i have never seen anyone do! Even if she wasn't famous, she has that aura about her...

So, yea. Nothing too spesh, but it's a good story!

Please elaborate on your "unpleasant" experience with Katie! I ask because I live in NC, and Dawson's Creek was filmed in Wilmington, NC. I remember reading something written by an extra for the show, and he said Katie was a "stuck up b*tch," and that she was really skinny, refused to talk to anyone and would not come out of her trailer except to shoot her scenes.

When I was in highschool a friend of mine brought "Skretch" from Saved By The Bell to a dance at school,he was obviously older than us, by like 7 years or so. He didnt really talk to anyone, but she told me he "HATED" when people called him Skretch...
