Wish I could give you a hundred likes for these vintage goodies, justaguy! thank you! can't believe we're seeing Nureyev's home .. he was all splendor and kind of camp but not like celebrities (or cough, Drake), he just exuded knowledge, curiosity and passion for his field.. the Bibiena engravings ... wonder what happened to the part of his estate that was not auctioned in the 90s..

And speaking of that, wonder what happened to David Bowie's Mustique property.. that Egyptian Revival chair..

Nureyev's and YSL’s homes are the stuff of interior design legends that will stand the test of time, trends and tastes. But looking at all these carefully curated homes, Halsey’s remains my fav: Simple, warm, unfussy, uncluttered but still utilitarian, spacious and open.

If people wonder what types are keeping Phillip Plein in business, it’s people with Drake’s and Ferris' taste. It’s admittedly very excessive, very extravagant, very glossy and glam— but it’s so blindingly tacky. Yuck. All the money in the world can’t take out the trash when those fluorescent/LED pink lights flare up. Yuck yuck yuck.

(I wonder if it’s all his investment, or it’s his mum’s wealth that’s investing in this home…??? Since his mum’s family owns a very healthy strip of the neighbourhood his home is located in, the house could very well be just a hand me down to him…)

BTW, Drake had put up this home showcased for sale about a month ago for 88millionCDN, approx 65millionUSD (...for anyone interested).
