Celine Cruise 2026 Paris

I can’t stand that zipper, and I honestly hope this whole “revival” of that bag flops. It feels lazy from both him and LVMH and that’s coming from someone who was actually pretty positive about his debut.

I never bought into the whole “this bag is outdated” narrative people love to push online, but let’s be real, the consensus not long ago was that carrying a Phantom tote in 2024/25 was passé. It was a relic of its era. Now Celine re-releases it, throws big money at marketing, and suddenly the same fashion crowd is “excited” and claiming “it’s time.” It’s manufactured hype, plain and simple. which is why many luxury brands are in the state they are in especially lvmh.

I wonder how those bags look when the zippers are open.
But even closed, I haven’t seen one pic where the zipper isn’t puckering.
They’re stupid looking.

I also find the handle placement, length, and colors of his bags, especially the brown one, very reminiscent of Daniel Lee's BV.

But overall, Michael's products are still more desirable than Ferragamo.

The good thing about this whole trend is for people like me who rarely get rid of their bags. I have still all my bags from years ago from some brands and it’s almost funny to see them quickly return to those bags, the pricing is different and I’m suddenly left with either to sell it or keep it decision.

But while I think the luggage is quite outdated with it bicolor features, I have never felt like the Phantom, the clasp and the tie among others were outdated. So I have still those bags.

On one hand, I welcome this because lately, designers introducing new bags = doing another version of a Chanel or Hermes bag. The more brands will try to have a distinctive line of bags, the more I will support it…Even if it means going back to the archives.

Nevertheless, for me, the new east west Phantom looks more like a travel bag. It will be interesting to see how he will develop the line at Celine as they have way too many unnecessary bags like the Conti.

Am I the only one thinking the nicest Phoebe-era Celine bag remains the Box with the characteristic clasp closure? It’s such a timeless and sleek shape, though obviously with a very different attitude than the ones featured in Rider’s collection.

W Korea uploaded a video of Taehyung promoting that bag. They are going all for it lmao he’s very cute in it though, I guess it will sell like crazy in Asia.

wonderful collection, and incredible approach. I've said lots of times before I'm a HUGE Hedi Stan but this the first time I want to see and try on clothes. Mister Michael, we want to buy!

and WHY are here some many women deciding what WE men will buy?

Celine menswear was made for us, and we will pick our purchases!

Maybe you all should keep talking about Phoebe Philo's brand.

I'll be online in case those keyboard warriors want to talk.

oh fck no, why is it smiling..
It is not smiling, only a curvy zip...
Pareidolia. 🤭

On another note, it would be cool if, after the Chanel-gate, they decided to have Jennifer Lopez as Celine muse or brand ambassador.

It is becoming tiresome to see always Rihanna and A$ap parading the full panoply of LVMH products.
They look like living ads.

This!

It's so inauthentic and you just know it's all orchestrated by PR Teams and stylists. Do people really fall for this kind of stuff in the year 2025? Seriously?!
Yes
When I worked at Dior in the office I imagine the people who would send us photos of themselves decked in book totes and Dior tshirts and d-way slides while sitting in the Dior cafe in Miami are the people who fall for this PR.

They want so much to “belong” and be a part of something.

One thing about ASAP Rocky is that he doesn’t know anything about brand loyalty.
I though he was a Dior guy and then he became a Gucci guy, to later switch to Bottega Veneta and not so long ago YSL to just now fish for Celine.

I wouldn’t mind if it was just a client wearing what he purchased. But here, it’s total PR and it’s annoying because it serves the sole purpose to market him as a fashion icon.

And to make it worse, as Rihanna and him are so present in the media, it seems very hard to escape.

With things like that, I can’t be mad with brands locking celebrities in contracts.

Fashion Icon is questionable. There are people with taste and there are people with money.

I do agree with you regarding contracts.
