And in my purely anecdotal experience, rich or spending people are no more or less moronic than the whole population, but when they are moronic the consequences tend to be bigger, cause they spend much more on their moronness.
I don't exempt myself, when I shop out-of-boredom for stuff I won't use, wear or even give a second look, because the SAs or galerists knew how to to fluff - my feathers.

why are we surprised that rocky is used (asked to promote) he is closest thing to rihanna as a male version and he has been promoting fashion from his early raf simons years etc he loves fashion and tries allot of things out (too much one can argue )
he is the type of celebrity that cross over in pop culture and bridge the ever so cheap high fashion (lets not forget the phantom paparazzi photographs of the LA celebrities in its heyday for celine to sell those bags they need the basic crowed to want it and it starts with placing it on every pop culture moment (paparazzi )
why are we supposed he is a poster rap boy friendly enough to please the board members and highsnobiety enough to be respected by the kids .
if brand come knocking at your door and pay you to wear stuff at a press day why say no they use every one that is remotely relevant to get cool credits.
i say good for him to milk it all hope he gets paid every year more and more because once they are done with him its over and on to the next token poc related to rap culture.
to young kids he is a fashion icon and i think its fine that different demographics have there own ideals...... its not mine but its fine
I don't like this new celine and the bag PR placements in the devils wears prada to random rocky is just underlining it more what i suspected that Michael Rider has no clear vision or world building
hedi did it also for his first bag on lady gaga but she was the only one or lisa bit later during the pandemic days and all the other launched bags with ig stories campaigns of girls actress and singers and models he selected that where ideally part of his vision for celine world
this like riders show is random and clearly driven from the ceo point of view because rider does not have one .
