hikarupanda, after experimenting with a couple of designer handbags, i can say i am not really a handbag freak and that's a relief :P but i realise that i like every chanel belt made. and you girls got me so excited about chanel jewelries. so there you have it. out of the lion's mouth, into the alligator's mouth.

madem0iselle, how much is that belt/necklace? so have you decided which one you want more right now? the heart necklace or the camellia ring? ^_^

oops, just scrolled a few pages back and read that the necklace/belt is 3000 dolars!!

I am going for the yellow gold with diamonds necklace it would be $3295+$595= $3890 x 1.14% tax= $4434.6 CAD

if i go for the one without diamonds but with the carved out holes of the camelia flower in the heart it would be $895+$595=$1490 x 1.14%=$1698.6 CAD

wow, the prices in Canada is so steep...along with sales tax...!!

I think of buying jewelry like buying a house or a car.....I mean if the prices are high enough they would consider a discount---they have to..!

maem0iselle, you are just tempting me with that camellia belt ebay auction. but it's mad expensive and i'm really broke :P i'm saving all of my money for a trip, now it seems stupid to go on a holiday when i can get myself that pretty belt.

as for buying from ebay, i think it depends on each seller. you better check with your seller how (s)he going to send your item.
 
augustus- i never knew that chanel boutiques can give discounts? can they? i know it is crazy espnive i might buy the pendant first whihc is already a whopping $3296 CAD imagine with the 14% tax...and then when i save eough ill get the chain which is $595
Ive never tried gettin discounts on jewerly except this swarovski pendant which i didnt buy from the boutique but a big jewrly store.

im so excited for the window costume chanel charm pendant neck;lace! ive seen it in real life too its soo intricate and elaborate such a cute classy piece too! the eiffel the camelia and duhh no5 perfume! i think its a reasoable price for $522 CAD

anddd where are you going? the belt is so unique like i diont think youll see many people wearing that same thing, ive only seen it on daria and lindsay =)

madem0iselle, sadly my flight and hotel are booked and paid for :blush: if not, i'd definitely get that belt, no hesitation! i'm going to bali for a week by the way :flower:

omgosh i dont think ill ver get the heart pendant i keep saying to myself, ok i will save money and then i spend it >< its exspnive and i need to save up i think if i continue spending its going to take forever, now i have gotten the window charm from ebay its $590 CAD and after that i want a cavalli aviators and then ills tart saving - -" hopefully by autmn/decemeber i can get the heart pendant...

hey, that happens to me too, there're just too many things that i want to buy. whenever i go out, i'll find something i want to buy. someone needs to put shackles on my feet and lock me up in the basement so i don't go out. that pendant is gorgeous though so you've to be strong and resist temptations :lol:
 
ahh i know ok i swear imma make an oath, after this pendant and cavalli, i will start saving up! belive in me girls! ahaha it is gorgeous but ok i was looing through my clothes and i was thinknig about the pendant and it does seam that silver would match almost all the clothes more but gold is just too pretty! and classy! now im stuck once again!

Chanel also had a star ring without diamonds but was silver. It was the outline of a star with CHANEL written on it and unusual in a good sense. They are mostly sold out now and were seasonal (not sure when). I was desperate for and got one of the last available despite the fact it was 2 sizes too large but after i had it resized its perfect.
 
I love their new gold bar clutch. It's a real 24-carat gold plated clutch and priced RM 7200.00 at Chanel KLCC. That's what I call a perfect investment. Actually buying Chanel is like investing itself :D
