I remember seeing Chanel earrings that were round black posts with the interlocked "CC" in white. Does anyone know if those are still available in stores?

#492 -- I went to Chanel today and asked about that necklace. It's part of "act 2" of the fall collection and won't be available for purchase until September or October at the Chanel boutiques. I believe it's also actually a belt. It's over $2000 because the detailing is real lace. I think around $2100 or 2200? There's also a similar necklace with the black detailing that no one, not even the Chanel boutiques bought, which is a shame. I wear a lot of black so I'd have loved to have either one.

I also bought more Chanel costume jewelry while I was there! I'll take pictures of all of mine later. I got a strand of pearls with the double C's throughout and also this beautiful gold filligree necklace. I can't find it on the runway, though. The detailing on it is just amazing. There was another one that I really wanted--another filligree necklace with a gold heart pendant with more amazing detailing--but that would have brought my total to about $3000 and I wasn't going to part with that much, as lovely as it all was. All 3 necklaces together looked amazing, a lot like the runway looks.

In regards to #492 post, actually the model is wearing both the necklace (the shorter one) and the chain belt as necklace. I was told by chanel 1800 # that the boutiques in US did order them. The necklace is $995, and the chainbelt is $2170. The chainbelt is nice but very expensive, and I want a necklace, if I wear the chainbelt as necklace like the models did, do you think it's too much for a casual look?? Or should I go for the short necklace??

on th side note, I have never purchased a chanel chain belt before, so how's the size like???? I was told there's S, M, and L.....I don't know what size I am....I usually wear size 4 or 6, am I a medium for the the chain belt??

Oh, no, the short necklace isn't the one I was referring to re: no one bought it. I can't find a picture of it online, but it was on a cover of Vanity Fair. I can't find pictures online of any of the jewelry I looked at, actually. How frustrating! (I just lent my digicam out, so I can't take my own photos quite yet.)

I think the necklace is the shorter part, just one layer with that big cc on the model. The longer layers are the chain belt used as a necklace.
