the seller has had alot of complaints about no communications, when problems arise, etc.

wearable art, yeah i'm concerned about that too. i should contact the seller before i bid then. if the glasses are authentic then i think i might take a chance because they're much lower than retail..i dunno.

yea, I know it is much lower than retail and tempting.

curious how they are able to get so many diff brands at a much lower price. :shock:

ok theyre here... these are my first chanel eyeglasses so i dont know how everything is supposed to look like..... im going to take them to the chanel boutique tomorrow to make sure theyre authentic.

is the guarantee certificate supposed to be filled in??

I do not know if it is or not, sorry. If you're going to the boutique, maybe wait to see what they say before you fill it out, then if you find out they are not - you can seek a refund from the seller...just a thought?

Humm...I've been around Ralph Lauren for a while now, and the company is always saying how many fakes there are around for high end luxury brands, especially from E Bay and their overseas sellers...I am convinced that, unless you don't care too much if it's real or not, you only buy from the source- it is way too common to get fakes and not be able to do anything about it afterwards...

that's the good thing about paying with paypal, you can open a dispute with paypal and should be able to get a refund. ^_^

Hi everyone, I'm planning to buy a pair of authentic Chanel earrings, I don't live close to a boutique and I don't really feel like making a day trip to the next city just to buy them. I'm guessing my best bet would be Ebay? I'm worried though, I'm not too familiar with Chanel jewellery, and I don't want to be scammed on Ebay thinking they are authentic when they're fake!

Is it true only the auth earrings come with the stamps and the boxes? And they are generally priced $200-500 right? Should I trust Ebay?

I would be real careful..I work for Ralph Lauren and believe me, it is scandalous how many Polo items on E Bay are fake... :cry:

I would go to Chanel.com and find something you like, then maybe call the nearest store, or for that matter the flagship on 57th St in NY, and see if you can order over the phone and they can send whatever item you are interested in (they usually can). I'll bet half the stuff on E Bay is questionable.. . :unsure:

I guess I'll try contacting the nearest boutique, and see if I can order over the phone! I'm good at spotting the obvious fakes on Ebay, but some of them look ok to me since they come with receipts, but I guess you never know

ahaha yes sorry i knew they were chanel, but since i'd like to order them at a retailer near me (its truly too hot to go to the chanel store really ahahah) i'd like to know more about them and not make a fool of myself like i usually do when im trying to explain a certain pair of sunglasses
