Do any of you ladies own a pair of those half tint sunglasses?
If so how are they, comfy? easy to wear?
I absolutely love them but all my friends seem to think they are, and i quote, "dead ugly and/or disgusting"

My God, Chanel stuff is getting to be like buying collectors items!! I was looking at sunnies the other day and almost died- $320. for plastic sunglasses!!?? But the salesgirl was cute, so I may have to go back anyway...

nope, a regular sunglasses store. at the chanel boutique they were sold out last time I went

^^ My favorite thing about Chanel- not only are their prices out of sight, half the time they're sold out or back ordered too!! Somebody on E Bay was selling a piece of Chanel ribbon to tie around a box for $7.00!!!

this sold out thing at chanel is so upsetting. whenever a new collection comes out, i try and hurry to make a trip to the boutique but i never find anything left (this happens esp. with shoes and it makes me wanna cry )

You need to make a connection with a sales person who will look out for you and can call or put things aside that they know you will like. Some of them keep card files on their good customers and their sizes and tastes; for extra "consideration", of course...Just how it works in high end retail, I'm afraid...

When I called Chanel, they told me that the two-tone beige&black tights were going to be $230 and the lace&black ones would be $495.

I'm not sure why different boutiques are quoting such different prices. Has anyone here bought Chanel hosiery before? I love those stockings, but I'm reluctant to be $230 for them without knowing how delicate/snag prone they are.

I was just presuming they would be around $80 , as I got quoted £40.

I love Chanel jewelry.. specially the camellias! theyre so pretty. I own a pair of Chanel camellia earrings with swarovski crystals and I wear them all the time.. I like them better than my diamond studs.

It is upsetting, but most of the time - things never make into the store.
They are snapped up before or held.
