regardless of liking TC or not, wasn’t Blue de Chanel’ purpose to aim to a younger clientele? he’s on his late 20’s.
on top of that, I do think popularity and talent wise he does fit the part.

also, to be in a commercial directed by Martin Scorcese is such a treat that I’d be doing it myself even if it was to sell cat food.

^ Agree. I think he was a great choice of ambassador to bring in a new generation of customer and getting Scorcese to direct the campaign film was a great promise.

But I must say, I'm very disappointed in the result.

Chalamet is quite maleable, has a personality that is easy to highlight, is known for his rather fearless sense of style. So many ingredients to create something fresh quite easily. And all we got is a bore.
