Well, it could be that her interest in modelling was more or less on a superficial basis or she could have been more interested in specific models rather than designers names or what they looked like. In regards to Paul McCartney, i find it perfectly normal that she didn' t know what he looked like. I mean the guy is ancient and irrelevant these days

I don't think that makes her stupid. I may recognize Valentino ads, Valentino clothes, etc, but I honestly have no idea what a lot of designers look like, including Valentino. Most designers aren't very visible, so I don't see how it's assumed everyone interested in fashion should know how they look (as opposed to their designs).

And as far as Paul, I know him, but I wouldn't expect younger people to. A lot of young teens aren't going to recognize stars that aren't on TV all the time. Again, it's about visibility.

its not the fact that she didnt know who paul mccartney was but this statement, "Or the fitting with Valentino, after which she described meeting someone important looking, who was orange." Regardless of knowing who valentino was or not ithink that this satement is completely "stupid" and a bit rude.

i thnk people sorta forget being a good model isn't about how pretty you are. emanuela doesn't have a good figure for fashion modeling and her faceis really regular pretty.

I actually think that Emanuela's figure is far superior to Chanel's. Emanuela can do both high fashion and commercial stuff like VS, while Chanel most certainly could not.

The only reason that Chanel has done better than Emanuela is because actually pretty girls, like Bianca Balti and Emanuela, don't seem to be getting a lot of work these days.

lastly i think emanuela looks just like a darker anja rubik---- and i have emailed anja---she agreed. she is pretty---but i really dion't think he is ALL that. i would love to see paula in SI and i wish victoria's secret kept using her.

I think Emanuela is prettier, but she's designed for more commercial modeling. Chanel is definately more of a couture model. Different, but I like them both.
